Tour Down Under comes to Victor Harbor
The City of Victor Harbor will host the Santos Tour Down Under Stage 4 finish and popular Bupa Challenge Tour on Friday, 24 January 2014.
Stage 4 departs from Unley and finishes on the foreshore (opposite Warland Reserve). The professional riders are expected into Victor Harbor around 3.25pm, while the recreational riders will begin arriving in town from mid morning.

Australia Day celebrations at Warland Reserve
The City of Victor Harbor will host Australia Day celebrations at Warland Reserve on Sunday, 26 January 2014.
The celebrations will include entertainment from the City Band, presentation of the 2014 Citizen of the Year Awards, a citizenship ceremony and a free barbecue breakfast.
Breakfast will be available between 8am and 9am, and the formalities will commence at 9am.

Bay Road upgrade
From 3 February 2014 the City of Victor Harbor will commence the reconstruction of Bay Road, Encounter Bay from Bartel Boulevard to Beverley Grove.
Work is scheduled to be complete by the end of April 2014, provided there are no unexpected delays.
Please be aware that Bay Road will be subject to lane closures and traffic management signs will be positioned in accordance with traffic control regulations to ensure public safety, and to minimise the impact of the works on nearby landowners. Normal access routes may be altered throughout the course of the project.
A display of the project will be available for public viewing at the Council Office located at 1 Bay Road, Victor Harbor and will remain on display until the project is complete.
