Temporary Event Signage

Application for Temporary Community Event Signs/Banners

The City of Victor Harbor supports the promotion of local events, festivals and exhibitions in the council area for the community.

Six (6) locations around the council area have been identified for the placement of temporary community event signs and/or banners. The signage must promote an upcoming community event that is being held within the City of Victor Harbor.

Community events may be cultural, social, educational, recreational or of an environmental nature.

Advertising from commercial organisations will be limited to tourism and community interest events in these categories.

Approved Temporary Community Event Advertising Sign / Banners Sites: (refer to maps included with application form)

Site 1:     Sign Boards – Hindmarsh Road (Signs must be 1800mm wide x 900mm high and attached to existing sign boards)

Site 2:     Entrance Victor Oval - 1 George Main Road (Sign attached to fence)

Site 3:      Information Bay – Adelaide Road (Banner attached to star droppers)

Site 4:      Sweetmans Corner – junction Mill Road & Waitpinga Road (Banner attached to star droppers)

Site 5:      Armstrong Road – adjacent Encounter Bay Oval (Banner attached to star droppers)

Site 6:      Lot 103 Inman Valley Road – (Banner attached to star droppers)

** Each site has a limited amount of spots for signs/banners.

Applications must include a copy of your current public liability insurance.
