New Shared Pathway Coming Soon
Published 13th April 2026
The 380-metre-long bitumen path will provide pedestrians and cyclists with a safe, off-road connection to key education and recreational facilities.
The path will also connect to the future Regional Community, Sport and Recreation Precinct on Armstrong Road, supporting access to multi-purpose courts, a gymnastics area, a health club, meeting rooms, studio spaces, and other facilities.
A new emu crossing (children's crossing) will also be installed where the path begins at Bacchus Road.
What to expect during works
Council has contracted Civil Tech Pty Ltd to undertake construction works on its behalf.
Work on the path will commence on Monday 20 April 2026 and is expected to be completed by July 2026, subject to any unexpected delays.
All nearby roads will remain open during the project, however motorists should expect some delays.
This project is supported with funding from the State Government’s Bicycle Fund.
