Ovals
The City of Victor Harbor owns two ovals - the Encounter Bay Oval and the Victor Harbor Oval.
These ovals are used throughout the summer and winter months by a number of sporting and community groups and are available for hire for special events outside of sporting event times.
The City of Victor Harbor is also able to license and lease out the Investigator College oval outside of school hours.
Formal recreational and sporting use of these ovals is generally managed by a license between the City of Victor Harbor and an approved club, school or organisation.
The licensee has the ‘first right to use’ to their licensed area. If you wish to use any of the ovals within one of these sporting license areas, the City of Victor Harbor can assist in liaising with the licensee on your behalf.
