AusAlert National Test

AusAlert is Australia’s new national emergency alerting capability. It will be used to send urgent official messages to compatible mobile devices during emergencies.
At 1:30pm on Monday 27 July 2026, an AusAlert test message will be sent to all compatible mobile devices in Australia.
You may receive a test alert on your mobile phone, tablet or smart watch. Devices will vibrate and play a siren-like warning sound for about 10 seconds.
You don’t need to do anything. It is just a test.
