Unsolicited Proposals
As facilitators and enablers of economic growth and community well-being, Council welcomes collaboration with individuals and organisations to pursue innovative ideas that benefit the community, optimise public assets, and provide high quality services in alignment with Council's Community Plan.
When an individual or organisation approaches Council with an offer or proposal that does not fit into existing procurement processes or grants programs, it is known as an unsolicited proposal. The Unsolicited Proposal Policy and Guidelines outline how to present a new and innovative idea or donate to Council. The documents detail the process Council will undertake in assessing and managing proposals, with a view to delivering innovation, economic benefit, value for money and strategic fit for Council and community, consistent with Council’s strategic vision and relevant policies.
If you want to present a proposal, please read Council’s Unsolicited Proposal Policy and Guidelines available on the Council website here and reach out for a discussion before submitting your application.
Contact City of Victor Harbor Community and Development Project Officer on 8551 0500 to arrange a confidential discussion about your proposal.
