The City of Victor Harbor is encouraging new and increased activation of our outdoor spaces.
At the City of Victor Harbor Ordinary Meeting on 22 June 2026, Council endorsed the application of a targeted waiver of fees to support the activation and expansion of outdoor trading and dining.
If your business would like to establish new outdoor trading or dining areas, or expand your existing approved areas, you can apply to do so free of charge until 31 March 2027.
Council's fee waiver covers both the application fee and furniture fees for: new outdoor trading and dining permit applications, and extensions to existing approved outdoor trading and dining areas.
To get started:
- Review the City of Victor Harbor's Outdoor Dining and Outdoor Trading Guidelines.
- Complete the appropriate application form.
- Submit your application to Council.
