Pets and Animals

The City of Victor Harbor recognises that pets are a very important part of our everyday life.

Council is committed to supporting responsible pet ownership throughout the community.

Under Section 26A of the Dog and Cat Management Act 1995, Councils have a statutory obligation to develop a plan relating to the management of dogs and cats in their area. The plan must include provisions for dog exercise and prohibited areas and cover a five year period.  View the City of Victor Harbor’s Dog and Cat Management Plan.
