Whether you’ve been living with a disability for many years, or just learning what a diagnosis might mean for you and your family, it can be difficult to know where to get help and services.
The City of Victor Harbor, in collaboration with Plan Partners, is planning its second Disability Expo, bringing together a wide range of disability service providers from across the Fleurieu Peninsula. This year, a number of guest speakers will be joining the event and sharing their insights as well as answering questions.
Entry is free and all are welcome.

3:30pm - Guest Speaker - Kudos
Kudos Services is the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) partner in South Australia for the Early Childhood (EC) pathway. The EC approach is designed to support children aged 0-6 who show developmental delay and children who may have a disability. There will be opportunity for guests to ask questions following this session.
4pm - Guest Speaker - Councillor Angela Schiller
Councillor Angela Schiller was elected to the City of Victor Harbor in November, becoming South Australia’s first blind Council Member. Angela has experience as a primary producer, small business owner and mother. Her interests include improving public transport, increasing affordable housing, engaging youth and encouraging positive ageing with a focus on equity for all.
4:30pm - Guest Speaker - Hon Emily Bourke MLC
Born and raised on a farm near Maitland on the Yorke Peninsula, Emily understands the value of working together to achieve the best outcome for a community. Emily is proud to be the Assistant Minister to the Premier and Assistant Minister for Autism and part of the Malinauskas Labor Government team that is committed to creating an inclusive community and improving the basics we all rely on –
education, health services and local jobs.

Learn more about the diverse services available to those living with a disability on the Fleurieu Peninsula. Explore stalls, chat with local service providers and gather information about disability services at your own pace.
