Powerful Women at Coral Street Art Space
In the lead up to International Women's Day, Coral Street Art Space has curated works that celebrate 'powerful women' with feature artist Mariana Mezic, Rumi Blue and Ngarrindjeri artist, Amanda Westley. The exhibition showcases the diversity of powerful women across the Fleurieu Peninsula.
A number of people attended the exhibition opening night on Saturday, 10 February 2024 to unpack what it means to be powerful. A highlight of the evening was a panel hosted at Victa Cinema where five women delved into different meanings of powerful and times when women have felt powerless.
Community members can explore the exhibition at 10 Coral Street, Victor Harbor between Wednesday and Friday (10am - 3pm) or Saturdays (10am - 2pm). There are no entry fees.
Running parallel to the Powerful Women Exhibition is a dynamic program of community events:
- Mastering the Art of Breadmaking with Anita Robin (Goolwa)
- Full Moon Circle at Hill Street Yoga (Port Elliot)
- Paint Workshop with Amanda Westley (Victor Harbor)
- Slow Stitch Your Mantra (Victor Harbor)
- Food for Joy with Andrea Ball (Victor Harbor)
