Cemetery Search

To search grave records visit the Cemetery Search page.

The City of Victor Harbor manages the Victor Harbor and Inman Valley Cemeteries. Plots are available for single, double and triple depth burials as well as interment of ashes.

The Cemetery Administration Staff are available to assist families to select the final resting place for their loved ones. Families may choose to remember the passing of a loved one by ordering a bronze plaque through our office or contacting a monumental mason to arrange a granite memorial (selected sections only).

Up to three (3) coffin interments permitted subject to depth of previous burials.
Up to four (4) ashes interments permitted per site.
Terrace Lawn Section and Lower Terrace lawn Section are the only lawn sections available for new licences.
Other lawn sections are only available for re-openings and ashes interments.


One (1) standard size plaque allowed per site.Standard plaques must be placed within 12 months of a burial.
Bronze plaques must be ordered through the Council by appointment. Phone 8551 0500 to make an appointment.
Granite plaques are ordered through the Monumental Mason of choice but must comply with the specified size for that section. Application must be made to Council to approve granite plaques.

Flowers, glass containers or unauthorised ornamentation will be removed periodically in accordance with Council Policy.
Variance to the above only with Cemetery Authority's approval.

Infant Section

Cemetery Infant Section

 One (1) interment per licence.
Age 0-6months.
Memorials:Application must be made to Council to approve memorial work.
Flowers, glass containers or unauthorised ornamentation will be removed periodically in accordance with Council Policy.
Variance to the above only with Cemetery Authority's approval.
