The City of Victor Harbor covers an area of 38,648 hectares and shares boundaries with Yankalilla and Alexandrina councils.
Local natural attractions include Granite Island, Rosetta Head (The Bluff), and various surf beaches.
There is also a variety of developed attractions, including the Horse Drawn Tram to Granite Island, the South Australian Whale Centre, Encounter Coast Discovery Centre, the Cockle Train, Urimbirra Wildlife Park, Nangawooka Flora Reserve, Oceanic Victor Swim with Tuna experience, Waitpinga Farm Quad Bike Adventures, Big Duck Boat Tours and the Dunes Mini Golf Park.
As a new resident, you can enjoy an extensive range of sporting and recreational activities. For those who wish to take in the scenery, a bike ride or walk along the Encounter Bikeway or stroll along the Heysen Trail provides an enjoyable experience.

Elected Members
The City of Victor Harbor is represented by 10 Members, consisting of the Mayor and 9 Councillors.
All Elected Members are elected by voters across the City of Victor Harbor council area for a 4 year term of office.
