Volunteer Week in Victor Harbor

In the City of Victor Harbor, one in four people in the local government area volunteer in some capacity. The Council itself is fortunate to have around 400 volunteers who assist with the delivery of diverse services, programs and initiatives.

The work that our local volunteers do is essential for connecting our community and ensuring important services are accessible for those who wish to use them.

Volunteer Week Small Grants

In 2023, the City of Victor Harbor is providing more than 30 small grants totaling an amount of $4,300 to volunteer organisations in the local area so they can host volunteer appreciation events. The grant recipients are as follows:
