Muwerang-Kent Reserve to host acclaimed SummerSalt concert
The City of Victor Harbor is set to host the acclaimed SummerSalt concert on Sunday, 30 March 2025. This much-anticipated event brings a major music concert back to the iconic Murewang-Kent Reserve, offering a fantastic day of live entertainment against Victor Harbor’s beautiful coastal backdrop.
SummerSalt is presented by Face-to-Face Touring Pty Ltd, following its recent merger with Regional Touring, a team that has successfully brought renowned Red Hot Summer and One Electric Day concerts to Victor Harbor in past years. This merger ensures the expertise, dedication and quality of production remain the same, promising an unforgettable event for both residents and visitors.
Supported by the City of Victor Harbor through its Major Festivals and Events Grants Program, SummerSalt will feature Missy Higgins, John Butler, Fanning Dempsey National Park, The Waifs, The Whitlams, and Josh Pyke. Tickets are available at Ticket Master and early booking is encouraged due to anticipated demand.
Mayor Moira Jenkins expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “We’re excited to welcome SummerSalt to Victor Harbor and to see major live music return to Muwerang-Kent Reserve. Events like this not only highlight our stunning coastline and vibrant community but also attract visitors who bolster our local economy. We’re looking forward to seeing our community and visitors come together for an incredible day of music.”
To ensure public safety and environmental protection, road and beach closures will be in place as per previous years, with additional measures implemented for dune preservation and safety along Kent Drive.
These measures aim to ensure that the natural beauty of the area is preserved for future enjoyment. Kent Drive residents will be contacted in the new year. Further details will be available on the Council website in early 2025.
