Published 13th March 2026
We're upgrading a section of the walking trail at The Bluff to improve safety and accessibility.

The City of Victor Harbor is upgrading a section of the walking trail at The Bluff to improve safety and accessibility for all visitors. These works form part of the Bluff Master Plan 2023-2043, which guides ongoing improvements to walking trails, public spaces, and visitor experiences across the area.

Project Details

Location: Walking trail leading from Car Park Two
Dates: Tuesday 7 April - Friday 17 April 2026 (weather permitting)

What to Expect During Construction

  • Sections of the trail from Car Park Two will be temporarily closed while works are underway.
  • Car Park Two may be partially or fully closed during heavy equipment use and truck deliveries. Car Park One and Petrel Cove Car Park will remain open.
  •
  • Alternative trails within the Bluff network will remain accessible throughout the project.

Why We’re Doing This

These upgrades will deliver a safer, more accessible walking trail for the community and visitors, supporting the long-term vision for The Bluff outlined in the Bluff Master Plan 2023-2043.
