Bluff Channel Marker Replacement

Creating a safer environment for the boating community

The City of Victor Harbor has completed a project that saw the replacement of 12 channel markers at the Bluff Boat Ramp. The previous channel markers were subject to ongoing damage and needed to be replaced.

Works were carried out in early December 2022 and were completed on schedule and on budget.

This important project has provided a safer environment for the boating community ahead of the peak summer period, and will also reduce long-term maintenance costs for Council.

The design, construction and replacement of the 12 channel markers was supported by funding received from Primary Industries and Regional Development.
