Esplanade Pedestrian Crossing Update

Works on the new pedestrian crossing adjacent Hotel Victor are progressing well.

Over the next week, Council's contractor will:

It is expected that the project will be complete by Friday, 13 March 2026, subject to weather and other unexpected delays.

Please continue to follow signage and traffic management in the area.

Businesses are still open

Eateries, including Hotel Victor, Red Orchid and The Larder Kitchen, and other businesses remain open as usual while construction is underway.
