Wattle Drive / Hindmarsh Road Intersection Upgrade
Work on the Wattle Drive and Hindmarsh Road intersection upgrade began in late April 2025 and is now complete.
What’s Changed?
Wattle Drive has been widened at the intersection.
New left and right turn lanes will improve traffic flow and safety.
The upgrade will support future development access and nearby residential driveways.
Project Details
This is a Council-led project, with input from the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) as the custodian of Hindmarsh Road.
The project has been scheduled to avoid peak holiday traffic and minimise disruptions.
Some short term lane closures may be in place during the works period. Traffic controllers will be on site to manage vehicles and pedestrians around the works area.
