CURRENT LIBRARY SERVICES
The City of Victor Harbor is closely monitoring the information being provided by both the Australian and South Australian Governments relating to COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
Although the Victor Harbor Library is closed, its operating hours remain the same and staff are on hand to assist with call and collect and home delivery borrowing services.
The library also has many online services that can be utilised, including:
*Libby – for eBooks and audiobooks
*Pressreader – for digital magazines and digital newspapers
*Lynda Library – an online library of thousands of digital training videos
*Libraries SA App – you can browse our library items online and place holds.
If you require any help accessing these online services, or want to borrow a resource remotely, our staff are happy to assist over the phone.
Our library borrowing services remain open and we are working hard to protect our community and staff by implementing new services, including:
*Call and collect service – please call or browse online and our staff can borrow and put aside items for you to collect outside at the library
*Home deliveries – if you are self-isolating to protect yourself or others, please call and our staff are happy to borrow and deliver items to leave on your front door step
*Borrowing times will be increased and additional renewals of items are now available
*Overdue notices will be temporarily suspended.
All of the Victor Harbor Library face to face programs have been temporarily suspended, including library browsing, events and programs.
As we receive further advice from the Federal and State Government’s during the COVID-19 pandemic, you can stay up-to-date with the Victor Harbor Library services at www.victor.sa.gov.au/library or call 8551 0730.
