Community Nominations Open: Council Advisory and Working Groups

Play a role in local decision making by nominating for one of Council's Advisory or Working Groups.

The City of Victor Harbor is seeking nominations for community representatives to serve on the following committees:

Advisory and Working Groups play an important role in ensuring broader community involvement in local decision making. They are made up of a combination of Council Members, Council staff and community representatives.

The groups meet on a regular basis, as determined in their Terms of Reference.

How to Nominate

To nominate to be a member of these groups, please complete the relevant nomination form. It is also important that you read the Terms of Reference for the Group you are applying for.

Nomination forms can be downloaded below, or you can collect copies from the Civic Centre (1 Bay Road, Victor Harbor):

Once you have completed a nomination form, please return it attention to the Chief Executive Officer:

Applications close at 5pm on Friday, 3 May 2024.

We understand that there are a limited number of places available on these groups, and this means there will be good people who miss out. Please be assured that you can still play a part in local decision making – there are opportunities for you to get involved through other means including deputations, representations and presentations to the committees and groups.
