Christmas Appeal spreading the festive spirit
The City of Victor Harbor encourages our community to support those needing assistance this festive season, by donating gifts and food to the Victor Harbor Christmas Appeal.
Council’s Civic Centre is alive with Christmas spirit, with the foyer a designated donation drop off for gifts of food and items for local families requiring support.
The Victor Harbor Christmas Appeal is a yearly collaboration between the City of Victor Harbor and the Salvation Army.
Mayor Moira Jenkins said that contributing to the Christmas Appeal, no matter how big the gift, is a gesture of community care.
“The Victor Harbor Christmas Appeal is a wonderful opportunity to support members of our community to have a magic-filled Christmas,” she said.
“Christmas can add a lot of financial strain to families. Contributing to the Christmas Appeal is a chance to lighten the load.”
Donations of new items can be dropped at the Civic Centre, 1 Bay Road, Victor Harbor, or the Salvation Army, 22 Bartel Boulevard, Encounter Bay.
