Australia Day across the country
Australia Day, January 26, is about celebrating all the things we love about our community, including our land, lifestyle, freedoms, history and people. It is a time to celebrate the contribution that every Australian has made to our contemporary and dynamic nation.
On Australia Day, we reflect on the stories and experiences of our people. By understanding our history of colonisation, we recognise that January 26 can be painful and difficult for our First Nations people and we acknowledge their grief felt during this time.
