City of Victor Harbor - Victor Viewpoint

Chief Executive Officer appointed

Victoria MacKirdy will start on 18 January 2017

The City of Victor Harbor has appointed Victoria MacKirdy as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Victoria has been a key member of Alexandrina Council’s senior management team since May 2013, and undertook the Chief Executive Officer role for a nine month period. She was selected through a national competitive selection process from a strong field of candidates.

Victoria’s extensive local government experience, collaborative leadership style and impeccable communication skills impressed Elected Members. However, it was her fierce passion for Victor Harbor and the Fleurieu Peninsula that led to her being named the successful candidate.

Victoria will commence at the City of Victor Harbor on 15 January 2018 and is excited to build on the accomplishments of outgoing Chief Executive Officer Graeme Maxwell who has been with the City of Victor Harbor for 23 years.
