Election results

A provisional declaration was made for the Mayoral position on Saturday, 10 November 2018. Moira Jenkins was elected after the distribution of preferences with 2,933 votes.

The count for the area councillor positions concluded on Monday, 12 November 2018.

Official results were posted to the Electoral Commission of SA’s website at https://www.ecsa.sa.gov.au/elections/past-council-election-results.

Voting for the 2018 council elections closed at 5pm on 9 November 2018 and an interim report from the Electoral Commission of South Australia showed 51.8% of eligible voters returned their ballot papers for the City of Victor Harbor’s elections. This doesn’t include the ballot papers returned directly to the council office in the last few days of voting.
