Have you ever considered volunteering?
Programs that are currently accepting expressions of interest for volunteering include:
- Caring Neighbourhood Program
- Coral Street Art Space
- Fleurieu Families
- Southern Communities Transport Scheme
- Visitor Services.
Volunteer commitments can range from a few hours per month to several hours per week, depending on the specific role requirements. All ages are welcome, and you don’t necessarily need any particular skills or qualifications to apply.
If you have some spare time on your hands, and you’re looking for a way to stay social and connected, volunteering could be a great option for you. If you’re young, volunteering can also be great way to gain experience for your resume.
To express your interest in becoming a volunteer, email localgov@victor.sa.gov.au. Council staff will work with you to find a volunteer role that is the perfect fit based on your availability, skills and interests.
