Council’s Community Satisfaction Survey is underway!

The City of Victor Harbor is undertaking a survey to assess the community’s satisfaction with Council’s services and performance.

As part of the survey, a random sample of residents, businesses and non-resident ratepayers will be interviewed through a telephone survey and online survey. The Community Satisfaction Survey is being conducted by newfocus, an independent national research company, on behalf of the City of Victor Harbor.

The results from the survey will help to inform future planning by identifying issues of high priority for the City of Victor Harbor community. The results will also provide Council with benchmarking data to track and progress over a number of years.

In particular, the Community Satisfaction Survey will gauge the community’s:

  • Satisfaction with Council’s performance
  • Priorities for Council activities and services
  • Preferences for receiving information about Council’s activities, projects, services and events.

The survey will be carried out during March 2022. Following this, the results will be collated and analysed, and a report will be presented to Council. Similar surveys may be undertaken in future years to enable Council to monitor and track performance.

All responses to this survey will be treated in confidence. Responses are compiled to form an overall report and cannot be attributed to individuals.
