Improving our library
The City of Victor Harbor will be making improvements to its library to make the much-loved community facility even better.
At its October 2020 meeting, the Council agreed to forge forward with improvements to the Victor Harbor Library to address recommendations from its recent service review that seeks to minimise noise issues.
The upgrade of library facilities was flagged in the Council’s Long Term Financial Plan and Asset Management Plans to take place from 2021/22, however acknowledging the importance of the service to the community the project was brought forward to 2020/21.
Improvements will be undertaken in two stages with Council budgeting $55,000 to deliver stage one improvements before the end of 2020. A further $360,000 is set aside to commence stage two mid-2021 and works will continue into the new financial year.
