The Victor Harbor Rock 'N' Roll festival is jam-packed full of activities with rock 'n’ roll literally taking over the town on Friday 18, Saturday 19 and Sunday, 20 September 2020. Boasting two dance floors, evening events, more than 500 vehicle displays, memorabilia, market stalls, great people, coastal views and more. What does the project involve?

Working under the guidance of Council’s Festivals and Events Officer, the Event Coordinator will be responsible for the logistical planning, organisation, and execution of the Victor Harbor Rock ‘N’ Roll Festival.

Weekend work and some out of hours work to attend meetings required.

How will the successful applicant be engaged?

The successful applicant will be engaged by the Council as a contractor. This will require services to be delivered by an individual or organisation with an Australian Business Number (ABN) and a current public liability insurance policy with a minimum of $20 million coverage (or are eligible to increase their level of coverage). The successful applicant will report to the Council’s Festivals and Events Officer.

The Council will negotiate with the successful applicant a fixed remuneration package that will be commensurate with the skills, experience and extent of services required under the project.

What are we looking for in an applicant?

Council are open to receive proposals from either an individual, business and or community organisation.  The proposal will need to provide evidence that the applicant has the capacity and capabilities either via a person or a collective group of people to deliver the services required.

Applications should demonstrate how the individual, business or community group meets the Event Coordinator criteria with supporting evidence of previous event experience attached.
