Would you like to meet up with others with similar interests in the ambience of the Library?
Bring in your latest project and share ideas with like-minded others. These groups meet weekly in the Library. They offer a great opportunity to mingle and no bookings are required.
Scrabble: Monday, 1pm - 3pm
Bridge: Tuesday, 1pm - 4pm
Knitting: Wednesday, 10:30am - 12 noon
Yunnan Pulgi (meaning 'talking house' in Ngarrindjeri) welcomes beginner and experienced writers to chat creative writing of short stories, prose and poetry. You are welcome to introduce any new work you want to share, join in with writing activities and listen to others read their work.
It's a relaxed and open group with input from all members encouraged. Bookings not required.

Every Monday from 1pm to 3pm at the Victor Harbor Library volunteers from the Encounter Bay Family History Group will help you discover your past.

Enjoy action songs and nursery rhymes with your baby or toddler. Share a story and then get creative with fun toys for the bubs or a craft activity for the 2+ year olds. Session is suitable for 0-6 year olds.

Baby Bounce is a program developed for parents and babies aged 0 - 30 months. It consists of 20 - 30 minutes of songs and rhymes with a sensory aspect. The sessions are interactive, fun, and beneficial to both caregiver and child.
Singing and rhymes are a part of early literacy. Singing develops your child’s communication, voice development and helps with their emotional well-being.

Little Feet, Big Steps is a great opportunity to bond and socialise for both children and their caregivers while getting some of those mid-morning wriggles out. This program is designed for for toddlers and preschoolers (ages 1 - 6 years)
Song, rhythm and movement are an important part of early literacy. Did you know that both advance your child’s communication skills, strengthens voice development and can even help with emotional regulation and well-being? This in conjunction with STEM inspired games and activities that will help with your little one's brain development and coordination.

Do you need some help using one of your devices? Perhaps you know a friend or family member who struggles using technology. We would love to help!
We have free help sessions available Monday to Friday. Our patient volunteers will help you with your smartphones, tablets and computers. The sessions are one-on-one so you can move at your own pace.
