28 July 2021 - Changes to Council Services

The SA Government have advised that Level 5 lockdown restrictions will ease from 12:01am on Wednesday, 28 July 2021. There will still be some restrictions in place.

Service Changes

The following is an update on Council services that will come into place from Wednesday, 28 July 2021.

Council Office

The Council Office will be open to the public.

Inquiries can be made in person, however we ask that people wear masks in our building.

We encourage community inquiries to be made by telephone (8551 0500) and email (localgov@victor.sa.gov.au) where possible.

Council Meetings

There will be limited seating available in our public gallery.

Members of the public are encouraged to observe Council meetings via the live stream which can be accessed via www.victor.sa.gov.au. The meeting will also be recorded and available via the website following the meeting.

Council Volunteer Programs

Volunteers will be able to re-commence assisting with services and programs in line with COVID-Safe measures put in place by Council.

Volunteer managers will be in touch with further information.

Community Transport

The Southern Communities’ Transport Scheme’s medi-ride service will continue to operate for essential medical appointments. Masks should be worn when possible.

Community Services

Council’s community services will resume in line with current restrictions. Program Coordinators will liaise with clients.

Field services from Depot and Rapid Response

Our outside workforce will commence work as normal.

Goolwa Waste and Recycling Depot and Fleurieu Regional Waste Authority

Kerbside waste collection services will continue as normal.

Fleurieu Aquatic Centre

Coral Street Art Space

The Coral Street Art Space will re-open.

There will be restrictions in place in terms of density requirements and masks.

Visitor Services

Visitor Information Services within the Coral Street Art Space will re-open.

There will be restrictions in place in terms of density requirements and masks.

Library

The Victor Harbor Library will re-open.

There will be restrictions in place in terms of density requirements and masks.
