Playgrounds

Victor Harbor has numerous playgrounds ranging from district playgrounds to small neighbourhood playgrounds. Playgrounds are provided that suit the needs of children, youth and adults.

Disability Access Playgrounds:
George T Fisher playground (train playground) and Kent Reserve playground offer a level of disability access including access pathways and ramps to platforms.  Kent Reserve Playground provides the highest level of disability access and is soon to be developed with a variety  of equipment suitable for children with a disability.

Please see below for details on some of our popular playgrounds.

Playgrounds for Children under 5 years

A collaborative initiative of the 'Fleurieu Families Program' and the 'Eat Well Be Active Project' has enabled the development of a community brochure featuring Playgrounds in the Fleurieu region for children under 5 years of age.

This brochure was compiled following comprehensive observations of equipment and facilities at each Playground site featured, making it a valuable resource for local families and visitors to the region. Copies are available from the Visitor Information Centre, the Civic Centre or click on the link to view and download the brochure.
