The Town Hall is over 100 years old and a traditional town hall with a stage (12x11m) serviced by three curtains, dressing rooms and a small kitchenette/servery. The main hall measures 21x13.5m with an upstairs balcony and has seating capacity for up to 275 persons. A hearing Loop Amplifier is fitted to assist hearing impaired persons who wear a hearing aid and a piano is available for use by hirers.
For the main hall, four pairs of double 40-watt fluorescent lights are controlled by independent switches. There are also two floodlights trained on the stage area. Additional lighting or sound equipment can be arranged.
The Town Hall is not available for any form of commercial hire or activity.

Fees and charges
The sale or consumption of liquor at all Council Facilities is forbidden without a relevant Liquor Licence. Examples if a Liquor Licence is required:
- Where the consumption of liquor is included in the cover charge eg: Food, drinks and entry included in the one ticket price, even at a private home
- Where entry is by donation
- Where wine tasting is being offered with a view to selling wine, whether at the event or in the future;
- Where liquor is offered as a ‘gift’ when an item is purchased
