Old School Building

The Old School Building Community Centre is centrally located in Victor Harbor (in the Woolworths carpark next to KFC).  It is operated by the City of Victor Harbor as an affordable venue for community groups to hold meetings.  The building is wheelchair accessible and has a wheelchair accessible toilet.  It is available to community groups for regular and occasional hire.  Storage facilties for regular community groups are also available via request.

Boardroom

Suitable for large meetings.  Table seats up to 12 people.

Main meeting room

Suitable for meetings up to 30 to 40 people. Has a large flat screen TV suitable for digital presentations, black board, white board and overhead projector. A public address system is also available.

Kitchen

Urn, kettle, mugs, microwave oven, toilets (including disabled)

Liquor Licence

The sale or consumption of liquor at all Council Facilities is forbidden without a relevant Liquor Licence.  Examples if a Liquor Licence is required:

  • Where the consumption of liquor is included in the cover charge eg: Food, drinks and entry included in the one ticket price, even at a private home
  • Where entry is by donation
  • Where wine tasting is being offered with a view to selling wine, whether at the event or in the future;
  • Where liquor is offered as a ‘gift’ when an item is purchased
