Submitting a Development Application
How Do I Apply for Approval?
- First choose an experienced and reputable building designer
- Check with the Planning Department and/or the Development Plan, regarding type of proposed development, setback, Land Management Agreements etc
- Bring into Council 2 copies of plans and all other documentation, such as soil and footing construction report, calculations, specifications etc., and a current copy of Certificate of Title
- Fees are to be paid and a Development Application Form 12-13

- Your application is receipted, registered and will then be processed

- Fees paid - calculated by Council staff
- Construction Industry Training Levy form if Development cost is $15,000 or more
- Copy of current Certificate of Title
- 2 copies of all plans - site plan, plan view, elevations, sections, framing plan, details etc
- 2 copies of all other documentation including (but not limited to) - Engineers reports, footing details, stormwater disposal, wet area details, truss calculations, standard building specifications
